Qualcuno può essere ricco e potente, ma senza amici credono che non saranno mai felici.
Qualcun altro può essere povero, ma circondato da amici che si fidano tra di loro saranno sempre felici.
Mostrare interesse per gli altri è il modo migliore per fare amicizia e soddisfare i nostri interessi.
Siamo animali sociali; dobbiamo avere un cuore caldo e prenderci cura degli altri. E per farlo abbiamo bisogno di ricordare ciò che abbiamo in comune come esseri umani.
Someone may be rich and powerful, but without friends they trust they’ll never be happy. Someone else may be poor, but surrounded by friends they trust they’ll always be happy. Showing concern for others is the best way to make friends and fulfil our own interests. We are social animals; we need to be warm-hearted and to take care of others. And to do that we need to remember what we have in common as human beings.
